On My Day with Nat Cook podcast launches next week!

On My Day

COVID-19 sent the world into a spin, forcing many of us to re-calibrate our short- and long-term goals and the way we go about our daily lives – whether that be in business, our personal goals, family life, fitness or travel.

When I first heard the news that the Games in Tokyo would be postponed to 2021, I was heartbroken thinking about the rollercoaster ride of emotions our hopeful Aussie Olympians would be experiencing. I also knew they’d be reflecting and pivoting to prepare themselves physically and mentally for their return to the world stage.

This thinking led me to the idea for my new podcast series On My Day with Nat Cook: Tokyo 2020ne.

The reason I created this podcast was to give unique insights into life as a professional athlete during this unprecedented time. You’ll get to hear their stories as they’re unfolding – raw, emotional and inspirational – not just the glittering success stories we hear after they’ve won their medals. You’ll find out how these incredible people plan, prepare and visualise their success to make it a reality, and how they stay on top of their game.

From 24 July – 8 August, I’ll be interviewing some of Australia's best athletes including Anna Meares (Cycling), Sally Fitzgibbons (Surfing), Taliqua Clancy (Volleyball), Mitch Larkin (Swimming), Caroline Buchanan (BMX) and Dane Bird-Smith (Walking) on what would have been ‘my day’ for each of them in Tokyo.

No matter whether you’re a sports fan, the athletes’ incredible resilience, honesty about their struggles, celebration of their successes, and how they stay motivated to achieve their goals will inspire you.

Make sure you're subscribed to my email list so you don't miss an episode of the podcast, or your chance to win some fantastic prizes! I’ll be giving away Royal Australian Mint 2020 Australian Olympic Team Coins, Ace Optics sunglasses and an unforgettable Fan+ experience with one of the athletes featured in On My Day with Nat Cook: Tokyo 2020ne

See you next week!
